
William L. Maughan from San Diego, California is one of America's most gifted and accomplished artists. His painting techique is unique in style and color, and his subjects come alive with emotion.
To Maughan's many credits, his paintings have been published in Time Magazine, Good Housekeeping, Woman's Day, Reader's Digest, Doubleday & Co. and others. He has been an illustrator for CBS Television, Columbia Pictures and Universal Studios. He is the recipient of the Award of Merit - Art Director's Club of Los Angeles and the Award of Merit - Art Center College of Design.
Mr Maughn's credits in this series include "I Loved You, Scarlett", "First Glance", "Portrait of Scarlett and Cameo of Ashley" .
Charlie and his wife, Judy York, herself an exceptional artist, reside in New York City. In the course of his professional career, he has illustrated for Reader's Digest, Redbook, and Ladies Home Journal.
He has painted many movie posters, "Barry Lyndon" and "The River" are perhaps his most noteworthy. Several years ago Mr. Gehm painted a series of eight plates of Grimms fairy tales for the Bradford Exchange.
Other clients in Charlie's portfolio include Delta Airlines, Oreo Cookies, Kellog Corporation, Land-O-Lakes, and MCI Corporation, among other nationally recognized names.
Mr. Gehm's credits in this series include "What Difference Does It Make Who You Marry, So Long As He's A Southerner", "You Can Drop the Moonlight and Magnolias Scarlett", and "You May Keep You Sanctity Scarlett".
