Robert Summers Lee's Peninsula Campaign Series

The Peninsula Campaign of 1862 was the largest campaign of the war, and one of the bloodiest. Of the 250,000 men who fought in it, one in four was either killed, wounded, or missing by the time the fighting ended. More weapons of war were assembled than for any other operation of the war.

Commencing on 25 June, and lasting until 1 July 1862, General Robert E. Lee, Commander of the Confederate Army, leads his Confederate Forces, attacking General George B. McClellan's Union Forces in seven major battles on the Virginia Peninsula. These battles became known as the "Seven Days Battles."
